It would be hard to identify a single most rewarding experience. Near the top would be a week long TDY trip, last week, to Orlando's Disney World. Purpose: grief support and memorial service for the individual who founded Shades of Green AFRC retreat center. Reward: Overwhelming appreciation for the single-minded mission focus (serve Soldiers) of virtually all 400 employees... instilled over 16 years by the one and only general manager. - Chaplain (MAJ) Rick Lund, staff group 29A (May-Aug 07)
Rick,
Thanks for sharing that with us. We all have such eye opening requirements placed on us while in uniform.
